I've been an admirer of Michelle Zindorf's work for a while now. I think I may have quite a way to go to be a whiz with a brayer like Michelle, but my card was inspired by this card by Michelle.
The only stamp used is the little swirl for the Owl's belly.......I think it's a Studio Astarte one! I used Adirondack and Tim Holtz inks for the background, acrylic paint for the owl, Adirondack ink for the chipboard branch- I added some veins to the leaves with a Whispers marker, but I'm not sure they show up very well. The chipboard pieces are also sprayed with Tattered Angels Bronze Glimmer Spray, click on the image for a better view. I'll probably add a greeting to the lower right hand side of the card when I figure out who I'm going to send it to.
Other supplies used - silver brads, gingham ribbon, buttons, embroidery thread, red card, blue card. The background piece is white Nopa card - it's a nice smooth card available in Officeworks here in Australia.
Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, but apart from waiting for my daughter to give birth, I've been having problems with my eyes. I have to put ointment in them 3 times a day, so my vision is a bit blurred.................it's taken me ages to finish this card!
.........and no, I'm still not a grandmother yet! Jo is scheduled to be induced (again!) on Saturday, so hopefully it works this time.

Hi Lyn! I'm also an admirer of Michelle's stamping. You have done really well with your project. Good luck on Saturday for Jo and I'm sure it's going to be a day of celebration for all.
