Ah well, doesn't matter as one of the D words is die-cut and I have used a little purple Cuttlebug mini tag die-cut under my greeting, so I'm still good to go with it!
The dragon image that I have used is a digital stamp, it's the first time I've used one of these. I recently discovered Dustin Pike's blog, who is the artist, Dustin releases a freebie image each Wednesday, so I thought I'd try this one out............I liked it so much that I ended up buying some more from his Etsy store.
I used my Prismacolour pencils and odourless mineral spirits with paper stumps to blend the colour.........I wasn't sure if the ink from my inkjet printer would smear with this technique, but I'm happy to say that it didn't! I probably should've done some shading around the images, but I was in a bit of a hurry to finish it........there's a bit too much white space around it for my liking.
Sorry about the angle the photo is on, but I took it at night and the gingham Christina Re paper has a metallic sheen to it that kept flaring in the light!
Thanks for dropping by, I'd love to hear what you think of my card, and digital stamps if you've used them.
