I've based this card on two challenges, this week's CPS 148 sketch and the Basic Grey blog challenge, which was a photo inspiration.
My Basic Grey paper used is an old one that I've had in my stash for a while from the Motifica range. All the stamps are from a Grace Taylor clear unmounted set (by Grant Archival), I used Stampin' Up Close to Cocoa cardstock and ink.
I think this card would be great for a teenager or a male.....might give this to my son-in-law for his birthday next month, he loves his guitars! Let me know what you think!
Thanks so much for dropping by, and have a great day in your part of the world!

Hi Lyn..I was surfing the net and found your great blog..I've bought a lot of Grace Taylor stamps recently and have yet to use them. They look really great and so inexpensive. By the way I love the card(s).. Cheers Lynn:)
Hi Lyn! LOVE your card! You did a great take from the photo. You have also reminded me of all my Mortifica papers I've got stashed.

Hi Lyn; when I saw the guitar I thought the Elvis festival in Parkes N.S.W. over this weekend. Fancy being in an Elvis outfit and wig in this heat?! :)
Your card is lovely and I'm sure your s.i.l. would love it when it's his birthday too.
Take care.

Hi Lyn, I don't stop by often - twins, remember? - but tonight I had some free time and was looking back over your blog to read how you are doing. This card is so lovely. What a great job you're doing!I loved looking at the cards your supporters sent you also. Reading about your trial of a day with Radiology just made me grin. For all kinds of different reasons, we've all been in your shoes. Glad your still grinning and creating when the day is over. Your spirit is so strong...hugs...Barb
Hi Lyn, how great to comment on a card from a fellow Victorian! I agree with you-this heat is ridiculous! I'm in Geelong, and I've spent today in front of the airconditioning.
Your card is great-an original take on this photo and it's a challenge to create a card for a teenager, well done!
