This is a card I've done for Kazan's Sketch 2 card challenge over at the 2 Sketches 4 You blog. As promised I've used some different colours from my previous posts of pink and brown cards! This card is quite a bit different from my usual cards, in fact I almost made it without any stamping at all..........but I couldn't do that now could I?
I started off wanting to put the key above the flower, but I couldn't get it to look right...........then I had a light bulb moment and decided to use it instead of a number 1!
Supplies used:
Stamps: bird stamp is October Afternoon, greeting is Wendy Irving Clear Expressions.
Patterned Paper - double sided EK Success Hugs & Kisses
Cardstock : Pedigree Paper.
Ink: Versafine black onyx, Whispers Azure Sea.
Chipboard key: Micro Art (from Handprint Art Stamps)
Chipboard number and brackets: Bella.
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.
Nestabilities SQUARE scallops.
Lumiere paint, Green Tara flower, Dimensional Magic, vintage button.
Tip: If you noticed in my supply list that I used Square Scalloped Nestabilities, but my card is a rectangle, I needed to improvise as I don't have the Rectangle set. I simply cut 2 of the largest scalloped squares and cut away the excess from one square and lined them up next to each other. You have to look real close to see where they're joined.

Nice work Lyn - I especially like the bling in the center of the flower and the punchy red accents - thanks for finding us and for playing along with us this week.

That`s a gorgeous card Lyn, & a very clever way to incorporate the key...as well as the nestabilities trick, well done & cheers from V2
